The graphic chartwheel option and U.S. and world maps require
the user's PC to have a color graphics card. Utilities that
enable a Hercules monographics card to correctly display B&W CGA
graphics by simulating a CGA are described in HERCULES.DOC.
Unregistered users can view their first saved chart in graphics
format, but because this feature is original and required
considerable work to develop, all other charts can be displayed
in graphics format only by users who send in the fee to receive a
registration code.
You can print a hardcopy of the graphics chartwheel by loading
the DOS external command file GRAPHICS.COM before running the
astrology program and pressing Shift-PrintScreen while the
chartwheel is on the screen. GRAPHICS.COM works with Epson or IBM
compatible printers. For incompatible printers, I include public
domain alternatives to GRAPHICS.COM in the file GRAPHICS.ARC,
described in GRAPHICS.DOC. All the free dot matrix drivers I know of
are intended for 9-pin printers. On 24-pin printers they produce an
oval-shaped wheel. Some 24-pin printers have an IBM Proprinter
emulation mode which allows GRAPHICS.COM to produce a circular wheel.
If you are not obtaining satisfactory results, order my AstrolDeluxe
program which comes with a commercial package of graphic screen dump
drivers for a wide variety of dot matrix, inkjet, and laser printers.
